The Fox & Hounds was situated on
the High Street and is now in residential
use. On May 29, 1840, the Fox &
Hounds hosted the founding of the Netheravon Friendly Benefit Society
(commonly known as the Top Hat Club because members wore top hats). The
society later moved its meetings to the nearby Dog & Gun Inn in 1844. |
