The Cask Inn was situated on Cambridge Terrace. This pub which had been open since the 1970s, closed on 18 May 2025. A community campaign failed in attempts to keep the pub open. It has been home to the Scarborough Jazz Club for the last 17 years which will now move to The Spa.
