I managed this pub for a tenant (Cyril Davey)
back in 1973. It was the filthiest, rat infested dump I have ever worked in.
Needless to say, I did not hang around for long. My partner and I worked
tirelessly to clean the disgusting place up but could not get rid of the
rats and the aforementioned Cyril was too tight to do anything about it.
