The Queen Victoria was situated on Stump Cross. This was a Lacons Brewery pub that was demolished in the 1960s to make way for a flyover.

Early 60's entertainment was Saturday nights with Pussy and the Cats. I was one of the Cats and Pussy still is Patrick Chadwick, later famous as Chad who for several years appeared on Radio Norfolk on the Roy Waller show. Another Cat was his brother Steve. The art school teacher mentioned by Adrienne Tooke was Lesley Davenport. Chad was more well known for being on the Keith Skipper Dinnertime Show every Friday for five years, writing a new song every week!!

Adrianne Tooke	1960	Customer. there was a folk duo, Steve and Rod, excellent. lots of people from the Art School used to pile in on Saturday evenings and sing along. i remember vividly the solo by quite an old teacher from the Art School - 'The Sheik of Araby', which was always a showstopper. though not what you'd call 'folk'.
Stuart Pendrill	1966	I used to go there to listen to the music, and drink lots. Cigarette Slim was one who I remember playing there. Plus this was one of my first "pub gigs" god it was fun. Still doing it today
