The Rose & Crown was situated on the junction of Cheapside and Lombard Street. This pub was later known as The Pall Mall.  It then became Cleary’s, an Irish pub before it closed and was demolished in the early 2000’s with Cleary’s moving into The Hen & Chickens on Moseley Street.
